Year 22-26 (Fall) - Honeymoon Fun

Last Round: Hilda reached an IW by maxing out all her skills and she is in platinum permanently. Heidi studied, played games, and decided, though still bi-sexual, finds herself more often checking out guys. Heidi also got a job in Law to get a scholarship and get herself set for her LTW after college. Family Sunday happened and Hans and Chole in college graduated with 4.0's, became BSOC, and got into the secret society lot.

We start this season with Hans moving back home with his fiancee Chloe Gonzaga in tow.  Chloe instantly heads to the shops to buy herself some new clothes. She doesn't want to look like she a businesswoman all the time. She also needs a wedding dress.

Back at home Marshall Upton comes over and lets himself in.  There is also the tinkering hobby lot leader inviting Hans to be able to come to the hobby lot if he wants to. Hilda will not likely last very long into this round so she tries to spend time with her grandkids.  (AN: I totally forgot to have her handoff the map she found to the new couple.)

Marshall then has a breakdown in front of their house.  I didn't know Marshall was that bad off, and I thought his last round went well.  We will have to see what is going on when we get to his house later in the round.

Hilda comes home from work and who is coming across the street, why it's Grim. He has come to take Hilda away.  The family did get a pair of dogs, as you can see in these pictures.  Things started off well with them and then they became very hostile to each other. Not sure what I will do with them.  Either way, I forgot to mark down when Hilda passed, but this would have been the first evening, so round 22. Everyone was very sad, but Hilda was happy and ready to go.  She is buried at the neighborhood graveyard.

Heidi wanted to sneak out after everything that was going on, with Luke Potts.  He was willing to come pick her up, and someone he must have found some money because I know the Potts house would not be able to afford that car normally. Unfortunately, Heidi got caught and was brought home losing a ton of aspiration points in the process.

So Heidi spent some time watching the cooking channel on TV.  Jill...I believe is the dogs' name, watched calmly beside her on the floor.  Jill is the one causing all the issues with her intended mate.  They share very similar personalities, but no matter how much training we give her, she is very hostile toward the other dogs.

Heidi reaches the top of her teen career right before she needs to leave for college.  She brings home Brigid (I think) from work and they chat for a while.  We will see both of these girls again in university at the end of the round.

Heidi then shares a meal with Hans and her soon to be sister-in-law Chloe before heading out to the taxi to go to university.  She ended up getting multiple scholarships including for Logic, being an orphan, being top in her career, dancing, and at least one more I believe. She should be set for her start.

A day or two later friends are invited over for a special day.  James shows up and appears to be wondering, as I am, what Bruce Norwood is wearing and why he would choose a Santa outfit to show up in on this day.

Who else is here, well Risto and Donatella are here and very much as in love as they ever have been.  I'm so excited to get to these two.  Donatella could be faulted for wearing a white dress on this day but luckily for sims, they don't care about things like that. We can also see Charles and Hedwig heading into the house too.

As if you hadn't figured it out already, it's the wedding day.  Hans looks very nice in his suit, and Chole picked out a very nice wedding dress for the day. We also see Miles Upton is here, although he still isn't happy with Hans for what happened with Aquamarine back at the end of college, we also have Esmond Kirkendall and Aquamarine here as well.

We now pronounce you man and wife.  You might notice the lost best friend mark above Hans' head.  Turns out Aquamarine was in love with Hans after what they did.  She now views him as cheating on her, even though he and Chloe were together ALL OF COLLEGE and engaged at the time. A peek at the crowd shows she's standing, smiling and happy, but also broken hearted.

The cake was cut and we see Chloe was very happy to be married.  I believe Hans also was happy but was dodging being smacked around at his own wedding. He did more shove the cake in Chloe's face then let her nibble it nicely, but they both got a big laugh about it.  There was dancing, and conversation, and grandma's soup because everyone was sick.  It was the best party anyone could have asked for, even with the "cheating."

Hans had scheduled a honeymoon for after the wedding and so off the newlyweds go and check into a nice hotel in Takemizu Village.

After a bit of a nap, it was a long day with the wedding and then travel on top of it, they grab some coffee and it's time to go out and explore.

The first place they visit has the ninja.  Hans and Chloe both wished to be able to learn to teleport so we send Hans over.  He answers the question correctly and now has learned that ability.

The rest of their visit that evening saw both Hans and Chloe drink some tea and tend to the zen garden there.  It was an enjoyable first day of the vacation.

 Another day and different community lot Hans heads to the shrine to toss in a coin and who happens to be there, the ninja again.  Chloe quickly heads over and asks to learn to teleport.  She also answers her question correctly and learns the skill.  She then makes her wish and tosses in a coin. Then it's off to relax in the hot springs and learn the acupuncture massage, which they both complete.

Chloe and Hans then stopped at a food stand and got some delicious food.  All in all, they got about 8 or 9 different vacation mementos on this one trip. They head home very happy to have had such a great vacation.

Back at home, we have a bit of a scare when we realize Chloe, at some point on the honeymoon, got pregnant.  Thank you ACR/Risky for that.  She nearly lost the baby as she was not taking great care of herself.  She instantly got some good food in her, soaked in the tub and took a nice long nap. She pops the next night, although it wasn't really a shock anymore to us.



We end the season while we await the next baby coming next round.  The Schuenjager name is currently not in any danger of disappearing and we have another generation 2 on the way. It might be a while before we get back to these guys though, and hopefully Chloe can take good enough care of herself we won't have to worry about her. Hans had wanted to max his logic still, and so Chloe joined him.  So far Hans has not found a job in his desired career and we are hoping it will come up next time.  So far Chloe hasn't wanted to work and since her LTW is not career related we probably won't make her unless she wishes for it.

Last Round Mama J managed to max out all 7 of her skills earning not only her LTW, but an IW in the process.  For a CAS elder that is big points, and super excited for me to have done. Rich and Jenn danced and tried to get pregnant, she really wants another baby. Family Sunday was had and caused drama with the Norwoods, and Camden grew up into a romance teen.

So before we start the round, something strange happened with this lot.  I'm not 100% sure what caused it but I realized after I had played it that Rich and Jenn's LTW had switched around.  Jenn wanted to graduate 3 kids from college and Rich wants to be a Hall of Famer.  Neither had reached their LTW's yet so that wasn't the cause.  I also had an instance in which my USB drive (where I keep my neighborhood files) crashed.  Still not 100% sure if it was the drive or the port but backups were made, drive scanned and repaired and play was able to continue without issue.  I checked many of the other houses in the hood and all LTWs were correct still so it was just these two. I went ahead and reset their LTW to what they should be at the end of the round, but I did play this round thinking Jenn wanted to graduate 3 kids.

We start with Jenn and Rich where they tend to be, in bed.  Rich is getting an inheritance payout from someone, likely Moria who passed away in the last house we played.  Jenn still really wants another baby, but time is getting short and ACR's risky has not given in.

Rich is in the Law Enforcement career and wants to become captain hero.  He isn't very fit, but is doing pretty well in his career and got a few promotions this round.  On this day he brought a friend home with him.

Rich was then invited for an outing downtown.  I let him and Jenn go and quite a group came with them.  I don't remember which sim it was that invited him, but they went to a coffee shop I believe.  While there ACR had a couple of townies (I think) start crushing on each other and Rich and Jenn were all over each other as usual.

Rich ended up inviting the group to come hang out at their home and so they all piled into the taxi and came home where they watched TV and talked some more.  The outing ended as a Fun outing and many people stayed around after and hung out some more.

Unfortunately, though we hadn't yet seen her, right as the outing ended Grim showed up with his hula girls to take Mama J.  It was very hard on Jenn and Camden, who were very close with her.  She had a good life though, met her LTW and taught her family well.  It was Monday, November 4 in year 22 when she passed at around 8:13 PM.  She initially wasn't happy to see grim, but with drink, in hand, she was happy as she went. 

The family almost instantly received the inheritance left to them by Mama J.  She only had 1 non-family sim that she left money to, most of her time was spent skilling.

Rich got sick with the flu and then without prompting from me both father and son decided to go out and try to pet a skunk that had come on the lot.  Rich stopped before actually trying because he got in a coughing fit, but he was standing right next to Camden as he tried and got sprayed.

Camden, in other news, danced his way into getting offered the chance to visit the music and dance hobby lot.  He still does his homework every day and while he hasn't skilled much this round, he has lots of skill points, so uni should be pretty easy on him.  With this, he should also get the dancing scholarship.

Jenn wished, multiple times, to get a puppy.  Since we know there will be sims who want to raise puppies and kitties she went down to the pet shop and bought a couple of dogs.  They got along very well and pretty quickly were able to try for puppies.  It was a success and some puppies will arrive next round. The dog's names are Katie and Keith (named after the YouTube people I was watching at the time)

Rich got himself promoted and reached a money milestone, which made him very happy as a fortune sim.  I believe it was Jenn who brought home the woman in blue as she is in the Law career currently.  Her and Rich were getting past the point of having any more kids, so I had Jenn take a swig of elixir and then she started fertility treatments.  If risky doesn't give them a baby in the time it takes for her to get too old again they will only have Camden.

Camden had somehow, last round, not yet gone and gotten a cell phone, so Friday night he hit up Inter@ctive, which tends to be a teen hangout and bought one.  Sadly not really any teens were there that particular night, so he played some games and then went home.

With that, we are already through this house.  I admit I didn't do a whole lot with the family as I was worried about the crash that happened, so I was cautious.  Luckily everything seems to be working properly and I had no further issues or strangeness, so I might chalk it up to just some weird fluke or perhaps something that happened while I was attempting to fix something else. Either way, the hood checker was run and no issues found, and I have seen no additional hints that this neighborhood is headed towards disaster so I will just keep my backups going and proceed.
